"The Spirit of the Lord is
upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the
poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach
deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty them that are bruised.." Luke
4:18
Jeremiah 1:5 reveals God's opinion of the
unborn:
"Before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you!" "The fear
of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Obedience to
God's Word must be the most important qualifying factor in every
decision we make and in every vote we cast. The Gospel of Jesus
Christ does not support the murder of millions of unborn
children....period.
A Fresh New Approach
To Restoring Shattered Lives
Seven-Fold
Ministries, Inc. is here to help restore a broken humanity - one
person at a time. The poor, the brokenhearted, the captives
(addicted), the blind (spiritually), and the bruised (abused). For
too long the church has turned a cold-shoulder towards the unlovely
and the unmentionables of society. Rather than loving them and
encouraging them to truly know the Person of Jesus Christ, some
churches have shown judgment and revulsion. Young and old alike
have been leaving the church with their needs unsatisfied. Teens
see right through it, and young adults turn to alternative
religions.
It is time to reach out to all of humanity in the power (dunamis)
of the Holy Spirit. It is time to allow God to demonstrate His
great love, mercy and grace to all who will answer His call. He is
waiting for us to give Him this opportunity to work through us. But
it takes a
team to accomplish His
work. It takes hands and hearts united by His Spirit in a common
goal. It is time for us to practice what we preach, personalize our
revelation, and get rid of the hypocrisy. We are the hands and
hearts of Jesus. It's time we acted like it!
I want to share my
heart for a moment about the purpose of Seven-Fold. After more than
twenty years in Christian ministry I have come to the conclusion
that something out there just isn't working. People are burned out,
frustrated, despondent, cynical, broke, sick and dying - and they
seem to have lost faith in the promises of God. Good,
well-intentioned ministries have been failing for lack of
support.
All too many ministries have been suffering because they are trying
to do too much by themselves. God never intended for His work to be
done by lone rangers. We must join hands and hearts together in
order to do the work of the ministry. In Seven-Fold Ministries we
are putting this into practice. All of us are seasoned ministers
and counselors, and we have all seen the same hypocrisy that the
world has seen in the church. We have all come to the end of
ourselves, and are seeking to do the will of the Lord - and His
will, alone.
We are going to the highways and byways to gather in those who are
lost, hurting and without hope. They are either victims of abuse,
sex trafficking, alcohol addiction, drug addiction, mental illness,
or just lost souls desperately seeking the "real" Jesus Christ. We
are not a "church" in the regular sense of the word, but we are an
outreach of "The Church," the Body of Christ, called and anointed
servant leaders of the Lord, joined together as a seven-fold cord -
supporting one another to fulfill that which God has inflamed in
our hearts to accomplish for His plans, His purposes and His
pursuits.
