Greetings
and welcome to Higher Ground Studios.
This site is home to all of our creative projects, where we
showcase the development and completion of our work, whether film
or print. Our bookstore is available for the purchase of our books,
CDs, DVDs and whatever else might be worth selling.
Higher
Ground Studios was founded by Stephanie Johnson as a vehicle
through which the talents of a network of Christian artists,
musicians, actors and producers can be showcased. It's vision is
one of serving and promoting one another in the marketplace,
allowing each individual to develop and excell in his/her God-given
creative abilities.

Did you
know that God expects us to use the gifts and talents that He gave
us? (No, duh!) And, that He gave them to us for a purpose....His
purpose.
We all have creative gifts and talents. You may not be able to draw
a straight line, but you may be great at matching colors or
arranging furniture. You may not be able to play the piano, but you
might be great on the spoons! Everyone has some kind of talent. The
problem is - so many have buried their talents, and are not using
them.
Fulfillment in life comes on many different levels, but there is
one level that is not often discussed - that of gifts and talents.
When we do not use the talent we have, there will always be an
element of frustration in our lives - an emptiness that nothing
seems to fill, even if our jobs are great, or our home life is
happy, or our finances are fruitful.
Aristotle used to talk about this very thing being the main
catalyst for reaching the highest level of fulfillment in life. He
knew that we are all born with these abilities, and our goal is to
discover and use what we've got.
Any of you know what it is like to see someone succeeding at a
project or a job, and kicking yourself in the head because deep
down in your heart, you know that you can do the same thing - and
even better. But we often bury our talents - mostly due to the time
factor.
Just think if everyone on earth was doing exactly what he or she
was made to do. Do you think that there would be poverty like we
have? How about depression? That might be cut in half, at least.
The world would be a better place. And God doesn't gift people to
be terrorists, so those guys wouldn't be blowing up innocent
people.
